Through the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, the Mount Sinai Health System benefits from synergies with a preeminent academic medical center. As one of the nation’s leading medical schools, the Icahn School of Medicine is at the forefront of medical and scientific training, biomedical research, and patient care. It is also one of several free-standing medical schools in the country that has developed independent, high-level graduate MD/PhD and MPH programs, as well as MS programs in biomedical sciences, genetic counseling, and clinical research. In all, the School will train more than 2,000 residents and fellows a year.
