Presenter(s)

Eric D. Edwards, MD, is the Chief of Surgery and the Head of the Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery program at Mount Sinai Queens, and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in the Garlock Division of General, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Edwards performs advanced minimally invasive surgery in which procedures are performed through small incisions with the aid of a camera and specialized instruments. This allows a patient to have a shorter recovery period and less discomfort than that experienced with conventional surgery.
