LIVE eight-hour, interactive stroke education class held via Zoom. This program is designed to provide you with the tools to manage patients with a diagnosis of and treatment for acute ischemic stroke (AIS), intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) and transient ischemic attack (TIA) throughout the continuum of care from acute care to rehabilitation to prevention of secondary stroke.

Target Audience:

Nurses, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals who are involved in the diagnosis and management of patients with ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke. The Mount Sinai Hospital is an approved provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Northeast Multistate Division Education Unit, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This course is offered for 8 hours of continuing education credit for nurses.

This course has not yet been provisioned for continuing education credit for other disciplines; however, it should fulfill the regulatory requirement for eight hours of stroke education.
