About this Event

Add to calendar

Mount Sinai offers a clincial stroke support group for stroke survivors, caregivers, and individuals with similar injuries. This group is facilitated by two Social Workers from Mount Sinair Downtown and provides a safe and supportive environment for people to share their experiences, learn from each other, and find support.

Benefits of joining a stroke support group include:

  • Connect with others who understand: Stroke support groups can help you conect with others who have been through a similar experience. This can help you feel less alone and isolated.
  • Learn from others: Support groups can be a great source of information and advice about stroke recovery. You can learn from other members' experiences and what has worked for them.
  • Share your experiences: Support groups can also be a safe place to share your own experiences and challenges. THis can be helpful for both your emotional and mental health.
