 re invited to Just Desserts\, an ISMMS informal meeting featuring this mon
 th an outstanding physician on our own faculty .\n\nJust Desserts was esta
 blished in 2008 as an opportunity for an informal meeting of our staff\, t
 rainees and faculty with extraordinary physicians or scientists.  \n\nWe c
 all the program Just Desserts because the featured women deserve the spotl
 ight and because the Mount Sinai community deserves to learn from them. Du
 ring the pandemic we met by Zoom and these sessions were great and now we 
 are meeting in person again and serve fruit and chocolate which we think a
 re fine desserts. The wisdom shared from career experiences and decisions 
 hopefully helps as we move to our goal of increasing the retention and pro
 motion of our excellent colleagues. It's your chance to hear how a success
 ful path is charted and also to ask questions about career\, life and all 
 those other things that don't get covered in formal presentations.
