I-HDS (Institute for Healthcare Delivery Science) invites you to join its bi-weekly Seminar Series, Tuesday, April 23rd at 1:00pm in room 16-82 in the Icahn Building, 16th Floor. Our featured guest will be Yaara Zisman-Ilani, PhD, Assistant Professor, Temple University.

Talk Title: "Shared deicison making and health care delivery: evidence-based science to promote practice."


Dr. Zisman-Ilani will introduce the audience to shared decision making and related issues (e.g., interventions, measures, quality criteria). She will discuss her work in the area of shared decision making in mental health and other chronic conditions as well as implications for practice.


Dr. Yaara Zisman-Ilani (Ph.D.) is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Temple University’s College of Public Health. She is a behavioral health researcher focusing on innovative decision-making and engagement methods for people with chronic health conditions.
