I-HDS and TCI-BSRF (Biostatistics Shared Resource Facility) invites you to join its Biostatistics Seminar Workshop being held, Thursday, Oct. 11th at 2:00pm in room 9-101 in the Hess (CSM) Building, 9th Floor. Our featured guest will be Audrey Mauguen, PhD, Associate Attending Biostatistician, MSKCC.
Talk Title: "Estimating the probability of clonal relatedness in cancer cases with two tumors."
Dr. Mauguen is an Assistant Attending Biostatistician at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She received her doctorate from the University of Bordeaux (France) after working as a biostatistician at the Institut Gustave Roussy in Paris. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship at MSKCC before becoming a faculty member of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Dr. Mauguen's research mainly focuses on survival analysis and the prediction of survival endpoints. She is particularly interested in using information from complex covariates such as recurrent events and gene mutations. She also works on improving the diagnostic and prediction of cancer risk by proposing strategies to define cancer subtypes, or assessing the clonal relatedness between two tumors from a patient in order to distinguish between metastasis and second primary.
