Hepatitis A and B are viral infections that cause liver inflammation and damage. There are safe and effective vaccines that are recommended to prevent these viral infection. Dr. George will review the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations on Hepatitis A and B vaccinations.  Dr. George will also discuss transmission of the Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B along with the risk factors of getting Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B.
