About the Speaker:

Farrah December, MD, is a General Practitioner and the Coordinator of the School Heath Unit of the Ministry of Health, Guyana. Dr. December has served as an Expanded Program for Immunization (EPI) Surveillance Officer at the Maternal and Child Health Unit for four years. In her current position, she manages the health screening of all children enrolled in schools across Guyana. She coordinates referrals and follow-ups for children with dental, vision, disability, mental health and other issues.
