At the next Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine grand rounds, on Friday 13-March-2026, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Arthur L. Frank, MD, PhD, will present a lecture titled “What is the Big Deal about Asbestos”.

Arthur L. Frank was in the first 4-year class at Mount Sinai receiving his MD in 1972, and his PhD from CUNY (Mount Sinai) in 1977.  He trained at The Mount Sinai Hospital, being Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine. He has been a career long academic physician , including at Mount Sinai, and is now Professor and Chair Emeritus at Drexel University. He has been engaged around the world in asbestos-related work for more than 55 years.
