At the next Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine grand rounds, on Friday 09-May-2025, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Amanda Deering, MS, RHIA, CHDA, will present a lecture titled “Occupational Data for Health: A Framework to Improve Patient, Population, and Public Health”.

 

Amanda Deering is a Health Informatics Scientist within the CDC National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). As the project officer for the Electronic Health Records (EHR) project, she leads the Occupational Data for Health information model efforts facilitating the capture of standardized work data in EHRs and developing ODH data sharing standards to enable interoperability across systems. She has over 15 years working in the Health Information and Informatics space within the public and government sectors.
