At the next Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine grand rounds, on Friday 24-October-2025, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Orianne Dumas, PhD, will present a lecture titled “Exposure to Disinfectants and Cleaning Products (DCP) and Respiratory Health”.
Orianne Dumas, PhD, is a researcher in the “Integrative Respiratory Epidemiology team” of the Centre for Research in Epidemiology and Population Health, at INSERM (French National Institute for Health and Medical Research, Villejuif, France). Over the past 15 years, she studied exposure to irritants and chemicals in relation to asthma and COPD in adults, with the largest part of her contributions in occupational respiratory diseases. She strongly contributed to the emerging evidence for adverse effects of cleaning products in asthma and COPD, based on French and US studies.
