  earned his MD with Distinction in Research in Basic/Translational Science
  from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed residency in I
 nternal Medicine and fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Icah
 n School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.  He is currently an Assistant Profess
 or of Medicine (Hematology and Medical Oncology) and conducts clinical res
 earch on the relationship between clonal hematopoiesis and inflammation an
 d sees patients with a focus on benign cytopenias\, clonal hematopoiesis\,
  and myeloid diseases.
