At the next Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine grand rounds, on Tuesday 18-March-2025, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Maria T. Edman, PsyD, will present a lecture titled “Adult ADHD: Diagnosis, Treatment, Accommodations, and Resources".
Maria T. Edman, PsyD, is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and a New York State, Connecticut, and New Hampshire licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Maria Edman completed her undergraduate education in Psychology at Binghamton University and earned a Master’s degree in Education from the City College. A licensed New York State teacher, she was a Special educator for three years in a New York City public school before going on to receive her doctorate in Clinical-School Psychology, and subsequent fellowship training at Mount Sinai West. She specializes in working with adults and young adults to improve executive functioning in individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Dr. Edman also serves as Director of Psychology at the Student and Trainee Mental Health Program, where she provides mental health treatment to students and trainees at Mount Sinai. She co-directs the Mount Sinai Division of Psychology Grand Rounds series. Outside of Mount Sinai, Dr. Edman is Chair of the Postsecondary Education and ADHD Special Interest Group through the American Professional Society of ADHD and Related Disorders.
