Science is changing, and the innovators of tomorrow are ready to meet the challenge.
Every October Mount Sinai hosts SINAInnovations a conference focused on the latest translational breakthroughs in medicine. Over the past few years, this conference has grown to become the focal point of wider initiative to bring the New York life sciences community together and foster connections between industry and academia. One of the most important of these initiatives is Careers & Connections, a student-organized “conference-within-a-conference” that is held the afternoon and evening following the first day of the SINAInnovations conference.
Careers & Connections is focused on connecting students and trainees in the life sciences with professionals from industry, through both formal talks and panel discussions, as well as an informal networking reception. For this year’s Careers & Connections event, we’re planning on holding a fireside chat and two panels, each focusing on different aspects of connecting with and transitioning to industry.
