During the course of their careers, many Asian-American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) professionals face difficulties being promoted to leadership roles, a phenomenon known as “The Bamboo Ceiling.” On December 2nd, the Center for Asian Equity and Professional Development will be hosting Beyond the Invisible Ceiling, the first ever CAEPD Fireside Chat featuring accomplished AAPI leaders here at Mount Sinai who will be sharing the stories of their professional journeys, discussing what they’ve learned from their experiences, and answering your questions about becoming a leader in the workplace.  Whether you are part of the AAPI community or are an AAPI ally who wants to learn how to help break the Bamboo Ceiling, come to our event and benefit from our speakers’ wisdom in the Fireside Chat, then stay for a social event with refreshments where you can network or simply get to know other Mount Sinai professionals such as yourself!
