Rosalind J. Wright, MD, MPH, Dean for Public Health and Chair of the Department of Public Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, is a national leader in research examining how environmental exposures shape disease risk across the life course. Her work also focuses on how protective factors in our social, biological, and built environments can positively influence health trajectories.
In this webinar, Dr. Wright will introduce the Mount Sinai Life-course Exposomics Analytic Program (LEAP) in Women’s Health, a new initiative supported by the NIH’s Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women’s Health program. LEAP is the first research training initiative to fully integrate exposomics into women’s health, advancing a more comprehensive understanding of how environmental, social, nutritional, and chemical exposures affect health over time. Dr. Wright will discuss critical gaps in women’s health research, emerging opportunities for discovery, and how advances in exposomics can accelerate progress toward improved clinical care.
