Commemorating the transformative work of the World Trade Center Health Program in clinical care and research

Program Overview

This program will bring together health professionals, legal experts, elected officials, journalists, and September 11 responders and survivors.

Morning panel discussions will examine the physical and mental health effects of the exposures at the World Trade Center (WTC), the Pentagon, and the Shanksville crash site, as well as the life-saving medical monitoring and treatment services provided through the WTC Health Program — including current and future challenges as seen through the eyes of clinicians, responders, and survivors.

The afternoon program will gather officials, advocates, and the journalists who covered their efforts to pass crucial measures, including the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act of 2010, its 2015 reauthorization, and the reauthorization of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund in 2019.
